New Features & Major Improvements
1. Case Management & Dashboards
- Welcome screen. Added a dedicated dashboard screen for employees without roles. Buttons to start certain procedures and register cases.
- Deployment history page. Added a screen for deployment history to make it easier to track when and how changes were rolled out.
- Editable cases improvements. Refined columns and layout in editable cases, including conclusion updates and an additional text field.
- Initial report copies. Added the ability to download a print/PDF copy of the initial report and case files directly from the case. Another copy of the initial report is now available in the Report section.
- Shared / default templates. Added and refined shared and default templates used internally in editable cases.
2. Permissions, Roles & Access Control
- More granular case permissions
- Extended and corrected the permissions matrix to better reflect real‑world case manager needs
- Split comment permissions so internal comments and reporter comments can be controlled separately.
- Added explicit permission for editing due dates in the matrix.
- Introduced a setting to hide specific roles from the user admin interface (e.g. Support admin).
- Added a dedicated permission to control who can copy registration forms.
- Role handling in involvements and dossiers
- Added and finalized new roles in the Involvements section and ensured they are correctly available in the case report.
- Fixed extra/unconfigured roles appearing in dossiers.
- Linked investigation users more clearly into dossiers and clarified who is which line manager.
- User and role import & limitations
- Extended Manage:Admin::User permission with limitations to specific roles.
- Added user_manager into user/counterparty tables for import scenarios.
- Private comments management. Enabled editing and deletion of private comments with appropriate permission controls.
- Status configuration. Added status options that can only be triggered when certain conditions are met, allowing more complex workflows.
3. Reporting & Analytics
- New reports
- Status Duration report – track how long cases spend in each status.
- Timing Rate report – additional timing metrics for case processing.
- Period report enhancements
- Added new fields and introduced a report generator to build reports from the Period report.
- Fixed the region selector to ensure correct filtering by region.
- Groups report improvements
- Added new charts and organizational levels, and introduced an Open/Closed dimension.
- User report fix
- Corrected chart label issues in the User report.
4. Multi‑domain Support
- Multi‑form, multi‑language. For multi‑registration‑form setups, different forms can now use different languages.
- Multi‑domain for additional buttons. Extended the “Additional buttons” feature with multi‑domain support.
5. Communication Channels & Notifications
- Phone‑based login and notifications
- Phone number is now supported as a dedicated user attribute, both in user profiles and dossiers.
- Phone can be used as a login attribute and as a basis for OTP login.
- Enabled phone notifications from investigations to users.
- Email and chat channel reliability
- Added a configurable setting for hiding/showing the email channel button, similar to the existing phone channel setting.
- Resolved issues where an email channel did not process all emails.
- Fixed an issue where chat with the reporter was not working.
- Communication channel consistency
- Fixed communication_channel data and related migrations.
6. Dossiers, Users & Data Quality
- User–dossier linking and creation flows
- Ensured user dossiers are correctly tied to users as they appear in Involved.
- Ensured a person record is created properly when a user is added via the admin/users page.
- Fixed an issue where a person was not added to the main case team.
- User photos and avatars
- Added support for userpics in new card designs and fixed issues with avatar sizing.
- Fixed an issue preventing admins from changing user photos in the admin zone.
- Units and exports
- Added unit name as a column on the units index and ensured it is included in exports.
- Added unit_id to the UNITS table and exports for more precise referencing.
Bug Fixes & Stability
Case Registry, Editable Cases & Logs
- Case registry performance. Optimised the /cm case registry page for better loading and responsiveness.
- Editable cases exports and auditing
- Fixed issues where editable case changes were not visible in the auditor log.
- Corrected problems with editable cases export so that exports now work as expected.
- Case files download. Resolved a bug where the Download button for case files didn’t appear even when the user had the download_documents permission.
- Activity log fixes. Adjusted activity records to use the correct user_id instead of the previous personage_id for investigators.
- UI/UX Fixes
- Corrected tooltip text about access limitations.
- Fixed a button overflow issue in the UI.
- Added default values to status durations to avoid empty/invalid states.
- Resolved validation issues when updating a user who has a country_code but no phone_number.
